Top Hung and Pivot Dual Function Roof Windows

Top hung roof windows are windows that are mounted on hinges at the top of the frame and open by swinging outwards from the bottom. Pivot dual function roof windows are similar, but they are mounted on a pivot point in the center of the frame and can be opened by either pivoting the window around the pivot point or swinging it outwards from the bottom. Both types of windows are often used in loft conversions, attics, and other spaces where traditional windows cannot be installed due to the angle of the roof. They are designed to be energy efficient and can be equipped with double or triple glazing to help insulate the space and reduce noise. Some pivot dual function roof windows also have motorized operation for automated opening and closing.
